Buffer’s iOS app is recognized for Best Practices in the Mobile Sites and Apps category
The Buffer team is honored to have had their iOS app win the 2018 Webby award for Best Practices in Mobile Sites and Apps. The Webby Awards received more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide this year.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, Film & Video, Advertising, Media & PR, Mobile Sites & Apps, Social, Podcasts & Digital Audio, and Games.
The Buffer mobile team for iOS consists of two developers who are dedicated to making the Buffer iOS app a valuable resource for social media marketers on the go.

Buffer iOS Engineer Andrew Yates and Digital Marketing and Business Development Manager Brian Peters attended the 22nd Annual Webby Awards in person in New York on the 14th of May. For the famous five-word acceptance speech, the duo stayed true to the Buffer team’s desire to share on social and said “Let’s take a selfie … smile!”
