Saying Farewell to Respondly and Hello to Buffer Reply
When we first acquired Respondly late last year, we couldn’t wait to start helping you stay closer to important conversations and deliver amazing customer service on Twitter. We had been using it at Buffer before the acquisition so we knew what a difference it could make!
We’re so grateful for all of the feedback and support we’ve received from Tim Haines and Phil Cockfield, the co-founders of Respondly, the incredible community behind it as well as our beta testers. You all have been our north star on this journey, and without all your invaluable feedback none of this would be possible. We can’t say thanks enough!
After months of pushing code, breaking (and fixing) things, and learning a ton from all of you, we’re ready for the next stage!
Saying Farewell to Respondly
It’s time for our small team of 5 to focus fully on making Buffer Reply the best it can be, and to really empower you on Twitter (and beyond). As part of this change, we will be closing down Respondly on Thursday, March 31st at 11:59PM EST.
How this may affect you:
- Respondly will stop working after March 31st. If your team hasn’t quite made the transition yet, we’re standing by to help you migrate today!
- If you would like to remain on the same plan you had before in Respondly, just reach out to us and we’ll be happy to set that up for you!
Saying Hello to Buffer Reply
We’ve been working hard to carry on Respondly’s mission of helping people deliver outstanding customer service. Our teams here at Buffer have been using it daily to take care of our own community and we’re excited to share this even more widely!
Focusing fully on Buffer Reply will enable us to deliver even more value to you and your teams and move quickly with all the amazing ideas you all have shared with us over the past months, as well as to pursue a few other wish-list items we have for it ourselves. This has been a dream of ours for a long time, and we’re so grateful to be at this point!
