BUFFER RELEASES SCHEDULING FOR INSTAGRAM STORIES ON WEB AND MOBILE
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 3, 2019 -- Today, Buffer announced the release of scheduling features for Instagram Stories available on both Buffer web, as well as iOS and Android applications. This new feature allows Buffer customers to plan their Instagram Stories in advance complete with the option to storyboard their posts, create draft captions, and choose a time for a reminder to be sent.
Instagram Stories, a feature that lets users post photos and videos that vanish after 24 hours, surpassed 500 Million Daily Active Users this year and is continuing to grow as a way for brands and marketers to leverage Instagram as a social media platform to reach their communities and potential customers. In a study Facebook released last year, 62% of respondents said they have become more interested in a brand or product after seeing it in Stories.
“We spent months talking to consumer brands that are using Stories as a key channel for their marketing, and found that there was a common theme; they were spending too much time navigating between tools to prepare their Stories, and scrambling to keep up with their audience’s appetite for regular content. Our goal with this feature is to help brands prepare their posts ahead of time so that they can share their Stories with confidence.” - Mike Eckstein, Product Marketer, Buffer
